Built by solar engineers, for UK businesses
Suncharge was founded in 2014 by a team of renewables engineers who saw a gap in the commercial solar market: too many businesses were being sold systems that looked good on a spreadsheet but underperformed once the panels were in place.
We set out to do solar differently, design-led, fully MCS-certified, with Tier 1 components and a single point of accountability from first survey through to year 25 of generation.
Today we deliver commercial rooftop and ground-mount solar PV, lithium-ion battery storage, and commercial EV charging across the UK, for warehouses, factories, food producers, agricultural sites, schools, hotels, and offices. Our in-house team handles structural surveys, DNO applications, installation, commissioning, and lifetime aftercare.
Over the past decade we've installed more than 32 MW of solar capacity, displacing millions of kilograms of CO₂ each year and putting tens of millions of pounds of energy savings back on our clients' balance sheets.
How we work
MCS-certified, end-to-end
Every install is signed off to MCS standards by our own engineering team. No subcontracted shortcuts, no hand-offs, full DNO and structural compliance.
Tier 1 components only
We deploy Bloomberg Tier 1 panels, certified inverters, and LFP batteries. The cheapest panel is rarely the right panel, we never compromise on the 25-year asset.
Built for 25-year lifespans
Solar is a multi-decade asset. We stay involved for every year of it, monitoring, servicing, and protecting your performance and warranty position.
Certified, accredited, accountable
We carry MCS certification on every install, deploy only Tier 1 panels and certified inverters, and back our workmanship for the full asset life. Our installations qualify for the Smart Export Guarantee, capital allowances, and full-expensing tax relief where applicable.
